Kate Capshaw an American actress born in Texas U.S on November 3, 1953. Her mother was a beautician and travel agent and her father Edwin was an airline employee. In 1972, at the age of 5, she moved to St. Louis Missouri and graduated from the Hazelwood Senior High School. These days it is called ‘Hazelwood Central High School’. She earned a degree in Education from University of Missouri. She was an efficient member of Alpha Delta Pi at the same University.
Kate taught special education at Southern Boone County High School in Ashland and Rock Bridge High School in Columbia. She got married to Robert Capshaw in 1976-1980 and had a child named Jessica Capshaw. In 1980, she was eventually divorced from Robert.
After this incident, She moved to New York to fulfill her dream of acting in 1981. She performed her first role in the soap opera ‘The Edge of Night’. She was featured in films in the late 80’s and 90’s.
Kate was originally an Episcopalian and then transformed to Judaism after getting married to director Steven Spielberg on October 12, 1991. She had altogether seven children. Her movies are: Indiana Jones, Black Rain, Just Cause, Love Letter, and the Temple of Doom. Kate worked in a legal drama “The Practice” as a role Arizona Robbins. She worked as an instructor in film Space Camp in 1986.
