Isabelle Fuhrman was an American teen singer and actress born in Washington DC US and best known for playing Esther in Orphan. She was born in February 25, 1997 and 14 years old. Isabelle’s mother Elina Fuhrman is a journalist and father Nick Fuhrman is a former political candidate and business consultant. Her sister Modeline Fuhrman is a singer and a song writer. She started her career at age of seven. The Casting director of Cartoon Network spotted her in a show “Cartoon Fridays”. Later in a few years, she had made her debut on a big screen in the 2007 drama “Hounddog”.
Isabelle was chosen to a star in 2007 for a movie Orphan and also had a tremendous role in a hit TV show “Ghost Whisperer”. She was nominated for the best Young Artist Award after this show. She also performed in many commercials like: Pizza Hut and K-Mart and also appeared in comedy skits “Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. She also provides voices for Cartoon Network’s “Cartoon Fridays”. She worked in movies like: Children of the Corn, Pleading Guilty, The Whole Truth, etc.
Isabelle is currently studying in a private school Southern California and is in 8th grade. She is keen in knitting, love to do crafts in her free time and also play a guitar. She was approached by Save the Children to be a celebrity advocate for “Caps for Good” project in 2010 and many other volunteer projects to reduce newborn death rate in developing countries.
