Amber Laura Heard is an Actress who is best known for her role in “All the Boys Love Mandy” as Mandy in 2006 as this film was premiered, it quickly got great buzz all over the industry which was the biggest achievement for her. She was born in Austin, Texas on April 22, 1986, her mother Paige was an internet researcher and her father David was a contractor.
She studied in St. Michael’s Catholic Academy till her junior years. At her early age, she had a dream to be a part of Hollywood as she was always very active in dramas at her school. She started to appear in campaigns and local commercials at the age of 17, later she left her school to achieve her dream. She went to New York to start her modeling career and later she finally went to Los Angeles to start her acting career.
In Los Angeles, she appeared in many TV shows like “Jack & Bobby” in 2004 as Liz, “The Mountain” in 2004 as Riley. In the same year, she got her first role in a film “Friday Night Lights” as Maria and then in “Drop Dead Sexy”, “You Are Here”, “Price to Pay”. She was awarded for her Breakthrough Performance in 2008 and was also nominated in 2009 and 2010. Now she is working in her two latest films “The Rum Diary” and “The River Why” which will be released in this year.
