Jaycee Lee Dugard was an 11 year old innocent girl who was kidnapped at the age of 11. Jaycee was kidnapped when she was returning from her school on 10 June in the year 1991. Jaycee remained missing for 18 long years. She was kidnapped from a bus stop of her school in California. In the year 2009 on 26 August Jaycee was found along with her two daughters. She gave birth to her two daughters during her kidnapped years. One of her daughters was 11 years old and the other one was 15 years old.
Jaycee spent more than 18 years of her life in a tent that was behind the house of her kidnapper. She was kidnapped by a man named Phillip Craig Garrido and his wife named Nancy Garrido. Phillip is 58 years old and his wife is 54 years old at present. When Duggard was kidnapped her step father and several other kids witnessed the crime. The first suspect of the crime was Jaycee’s biological father bust he managed to prove himself innocent. Media gave a lot of hype to this kidnapping.
Several NGOs came forward to assist the search of the 11 year old. The town was covered with pink colors as a reminder to everyone about the missing girl. Poster and flyers were distributed every where possible to assure that no stone was left unturned in the search of the little girl. Her kidnapper has been involved in numerous other crimes apart from her kidnapping.
